Designed as a pitch for a large financial client, Freedom was an app built with the goal of demystifying the confusion around financial literacy and bringing a more appealing aesthetic to learning.
Working with MOD and their senior graphic designer, we developed a vertical slice of the proposed app in a very short amount of time. This included character illustrations, wireframing, prototyping, and final product deliverables.

Can we make budgeting fun and helpful?
Can we make budgeting fun and helpful?
We designed an app prototype that combines gamification with intuitive design, heavily inspired by Duolingo’s playful and rewarding aesthetics. The app transforms budgeting into a series of interactive challenges, progress tracking, and bite-sized lessons, making it feel more like a game than a chore. Users earn points, unlock achievements, and level up as they meet their financial goals, creating a sense of accomplishment and motivation. Visual progress bars, vibrant animations, and personalized feedback keep the experience dynamic and relatable, while simplified tools help users track spending, set savings targets, and learn financial concepts in a low-pressure way.
